Renen Schorr - Founding Director


Director, producer, screenwriter, script editor and teacher.  


President of GEECT in 2000-2004.

One of the initiators and founders of the Israeli Film Fund in 1979, initiated the founding of the New Israeli Fund in 1993, the founding of the Jerusalem Film Fund (2008), the Holon and Herzliya Cinematheques (2008) and the Jerusalem International Film Lab (2011).


Director of Late Summer Blues (1987) and The Loners (2009).


Schorr edited many scripts, among them Broken Wings (2003, Nir Bergman).


Curator and producer of the tribute film Footsteps in Jerusalem (2013).

Rami Shemes - Deputy Director and CFO


Producer and CFO. BA in Economics, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.


Shemes was previously Director of Finance at Israel’s Broadcasting Authority, CFO at Matar Productions and CFO and producer at the production department of The Jerusalem Capital Studios Group (JCS).


Producer of several Israeli television series and most recently of the tribute film Footsteps in Jerusalem (2013).
