Retrospectives / tributes for the school 2002-2003
So far 65 tributes and special screenings have been performed around the world for the school, among them: The Modern Art Museum in New-York; The London festival, England; Rotterdam festival, Holland; Clermont Prand festival, France; Potsdam festival, Germany; Montpelier festival, France; the Berlin art Academy and more. During each event, celebratory screenings of a selection of the schools best films takes place, beginning with graduation productions and to the present.
In the 14 years of creation, the school has produced numerous children films that have succeeded around the world among them: "Bedouin Sand" (Omri Levi) – included in the top 5 finalists for the Oscar for student films; "Chester Jones and I" (Aviv Maaravi) – Special Mention at the Berlin film festival, 97'; "Something valuable" (Dorit Hakim) the golden lion at the Venice film festival, 97'; "Pepes Watch" (Michael Peretz) the Berlin film festival, 03'; and more.
