The Jerusalem Sam Spiegel International Film Lab has selected the 12 promising filmmakers that will participate in the 9th edition. JSFL writing sessions will be conducted online

JSFL director Aurit Zamir: "The pandemic requires us to be creative and inventive. In light of the COVID19 crisis and the ensuing travel restrictions, moving the work online has led us to expand and deepen the work process. We are intent on supporting the world's most talented young filmmakers in the process of telling the stories of this time".

Aimed to cultivate some of the world's original and rousing voices, the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel International Film Lab has proven itself over 8 editions as a meaningful artistic player in the festival circuit and with audiences worldwide. JSFL projects have received the most prestigious accolades- from Lazlo Nemes's Academy Award winning SON OF SAUL, to three JSFL films in 2020 Cannes Film Festival selection-
