For the third year in a row, five outstanding JSFS graduates met in NY with their counterparts, the 2019 Marcie-Bloom Fellows.
Initiated by Renen Schorr, this cooperation takes place in NY during the Tribeca Film Festival. The seminar offers intimate get-togethers and group discussions as well as meetings with leading directors, actors, producers, screenwriters and sales agents who mentor the group helping them to develop and complete their content goals.
The five JSFS graduates this year were writer-director, producer and web series creator Yair Agmon, producer Alona Refua, producer, director and poet Itay Akirav, director Or Sinai and producer Tal Becher.

Dylan Leiner, executive vice president SONY Classics: "since we initiated the Marcie Bloom Fellowship 11 years ago in order to empower NY filmmakers, we are proud of the results that we have produced in both the professional and personal realms".
Renen Schorr, Founding Director JSFS (who accompanied the group in NY): the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School operates according to the principle of empowering our students and alumni and our hope is that this Jerusalem-NY axis will cross continents, cultures and ideas".
Yair Agmon, 2019 participant: "it is important to thank the entire staff for five fascinating and enjoyable days that just got better. The content was super relevant and it was nice to get to know good people, to meet different cultures and a variety of professionals. I expect that the doors that were opened during the seminar will help us make films."
