German prolific director Wim Wenders will arrive to Israel as a special guest of the Sam Spiegel School, to celebrate the school's 20th anniversary. This visit is also part of the school's Great Masters Program, through which directors as David Lynch, Todd Solondz and others, visited the school.
During his visit Wenders will conduct a Master Class to the school's students and graduates (November 15-17). Wenders will receive an Honorary Fellowship Award from the school, and a special publication will be published marking this visit and honoring Wenders' oeuvre.
Wim Wenders will have public lectures in The Cinematheques of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, which will organize a retrospective of Wenders' films, including Israeli premiere to his recent film "Palermo Shooting".
